Terms of Participation
The following terms apply to the registration for the EventMaster.Club newsletter and the associated use of EventMaster.Club benefits, services, and content.
Please note:
We are pleased about your interest in the EventMaster.Club Community and the Community Newsletter, powered by AdCoach (adcoach.de). These are the terms and conditions for registering for the Club Newsletter free of charge and thereby gaining access to the various EventMaster.Club benefits. (You can unsubscribe from the newsletter, and thereby from the EventMaster.Club Community, at any time.)
1. Minimum Age
The services of EventMasterClub (eventmaster.club) are available only to individuals who are legally capable of entering into binding contracts under German law. Therefore, they are not available to minors under the age of 18. By signing up for the EventMaster.Club newsletter and using all related offers and content, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
2. Target Group
The services of EventMasterClub (eventmaster.club) are intended for individuals who work in event or event management or aim to pursue a professional activity in the event business or MICE industry in the near future. This includes not only event or event management roles but also related service sectors such as event technology, artists, presenters, catering, logistics, venues, hotels, special event locations, etc. By registering for the EventMaster.Club newsletter and using the related benefits, services and content, you confirm that you belong to this participant group.
3. Personal Data, Data Protection
To register for the EventMaster.Club newsletter and use the associated benefits, services, and content, you need to provide certain personal data, especially your email address and first and last name. For the use of specific club offers, additional information (e.g., a business address) may be required, which we will request if necessary. Your data will be used exclusively for internal communication between you (the community member) and the EventMaster.Club and/or AdCoach team and processed and stored in accordance with GDPR regulations. If you have further questions on the topic of "Data Protection," feel free to contact us at: E-Mail: datenschutz@adcoach.de.
4. Club Newsletter
The EventMaster.Club newsletter is the central communication medium of the EventMaster.Club Community. The newsletter provides (on a monthly basis) information about the latest club benefits, club events, and also includes, for example, references to interesting (specialist) articles from the EventMasterBook.de event magazine.
5. Unsubscribing from the Newsletter
You can unsubscribe from the EventMaster.Club Newsletter at any time. This will also terminate your access to the EventMaster.Club services and benefits. After unsubscribing, your data will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list. You can re-register at any time if there are no significant reasons (e.g., according to point 8) against it.
6. Visiting the EventMaster.Club Website and Associated Websites
These terms of use for visiting and using the EventMaster.Club website, the EventMasterBook.de or EventMasterBook.com website, and other AdCoach websites linked within the club apply. If you use third-party websites linked via the club media, the terms of use of the respective website operators apply. AdCoach also excludes any liability for third-party offers and content linked or referenced via the EventMasterClub and club media. The general terms and conditions (GTC) and terms of use of the respective provider always apply.
7. Rights and Obligations of registered Users (Newsletter recipients)
Registration for the EventMaster.Club newsletter is free of charge. As a registered newsletter recipient, you can use all club benefits such as free webinars, discounted tickets, invitations to club events, etc., as long as they are available. AdCoach reserves the right to discontinue any or all services associated with the free club offers and services at any time without stating reasons.
As a registered EventMaster.Club newsletter recipient, you agree to:
7.1. not make the services of EventMasterClub accessible to others, e.g., by forwarding event registration confirmations to third parties;
7.2. not share, stream, embed (as an iframe), or otherwise distribute exclusive club content (in full or in part) with others who are not registered;
7.3. use all content exclusively for your own work in the event and event management field, but NOT for teaching, training, lectures, publications, etc., or on your own or external websites, video platforms, social media, etc.;
7.4. not inject any code (or similar) into the website or the forms, media, etc., provided there, nor attempt to do so;
7.5. not post any information on the platform or associated media that contains harmful code or other harmful programming instructions, or that violates applicable law;
7.6. not attempt to bypass or alter any usage or access restrictions (e.g., on the website, videos, PDFs, etc.);
7.7. not use devices, software, or other means to disrupt the proper functioning of our websites or associated media, nor take actions that would impose an excessive or disproportionate load on our infrastructure;
7.8. not use robot or spider services or other methods to monitor our websites or the information they contain, or to extract or copy data via scraping methods;
7.9. not use our websites and/or club offers for illegal, unlawful, anti-competitive, anti-social, or environmentally harmful purposes.
As a registered EventMaster.Club newsletter recipient, you agree that neither AdCoach nor other providers of products or services related to the club membership are responsible for damages resulting from the use of the website or offers that you request from the websites or other media, which, for any reason, cannot be processed or accepted.
8. Termination of Contract, Blocking, Cancellation
If there are indications that you have violated these terms and conditions, AdCoach is entitled to take measures to prevent these violations, even without prior notice. To this end, AdCoach is authorized to block your access to certain or all club services, remove you from the mailing list, and possibly permanently exclude you from re-registration.
9. Liability, Responsibility
9.1. Unless otherwise stipulated in these terms, AdCoach is liable for contractual and non-contractual obligations according to the relevant legal provisions.
9.2. AdCoach is only liable for damages – regardless of the legal basis – in cases of intent and gross negligence, and only for its own club offers, but not for offers and content from sponsors, club partners, or other third parties. In cases of simple negligence, AdCoach is only liable for its own offers a) for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health, and b) for damages arising from the breach of a material contractual obligation; in this case, AdCoach's liability is limited to the foreseeable, typically occurring damage, with a maximum amount equal to the fees paid for the service in EUR. For paid services offered within the club, the contract conditions for these services, which are always provided separately, apply.
9.3. AdCoach excludes any liability for malfunctions, failures, or difficulties in club-related communication, for lost, stolen, or misdirected transmissions or messages, and for the security of such communications.
10. Final Provisions
10.1. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. For consumers, this choice of law only applies to the extent that it does not remove the protection provided by mandatory provisions of the law of the country where the consumer has their habitual residence. The provisions of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) do not apply.
10.2. If the user is not a consumer (e.g., a merchant, legal entity under public law, or special fund under public law), the exclusive jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is the business location of AdCoach. The same applies if the user has no general jurisdiction in Germany or if the residence or habitual location is unknown at the time of the lawsuit.
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR), which you can find at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.
